Some Background
A bright new talent
Calleey Horizon is a fresh, new, up-and-coming novelist who is currently writing other novels for young adults, as well as three other adult-oriented novels that will be published in the near future.
She has also written three volumes of contemporary poetry on a wide range of topics, which are available on her website as downloadable eBooks. Her books of poetry are titled, Eyes For Eyes, A Plume A Bloom, and Soul Glissade.
In addition, there are three books of sentiments on the site as well. They are presented in both eBook and audiobook formats, narrated by Calleey herself. The titles are Revealing Insights, Progressive Waveline, and Choices Un-Chosen.
Cooggles is her first novel for young adults and her first self-published work of fiction in paperback. It is a story that is bound to capture a wide audience, from young adults to adults. Ms. Horizon says, "The writing of Cooggles has been a truly enjoyable journey for me. Seeing life through the eyes of Cooggles has also widened my own individual perspectives. She is an enlightened feline in more than one way and through her, we can all learn something."
Previously, Calleey had a life and career involved with sales and marketing, as well as working as an entrepreneur in her own businesses. She is now devoting the majority of her time to her writing, and is very happy that she has been granted the opportunity to do what she most loves to do - write. And with the advent of blogging as a new means of expression (for everyone) Calleey is energetically embracing that freshest of mediums as well.
For relaxation, Ms. Horizon spends time indulging in her favorite pastimes, which include gourmet cooking, baking herbal breads and travel. She currently lives in the Pacific Northwest.
